Alec has spent his career focusing on accounting, tax, finance, and real estate development. Born and raised in New Jersey, Alec attended West Chester University majoring in accounting and later received his Master’s degree in taxation from Rutgers University and a CPA license in Pennsylvania.
After two successful internships with Deloitte, he joined the firm full time on Deloitte’s National Strategic Tax Review team and was responsible for the successful management and implementation of accounting method changes for several Fortune 100 companies to achieve permanent cash tax savings in excess of $1 billion. He has extensive experience interpreting tax legislation and writing technical and procedural memorandums.
Most recently, during his time as a Partner working for Good Developments Group, he successfully negotiated agreements at both the state and local level in St. Louis, Missouri to achieve exclusive redevelopment rights over 100 acres and real property tax abatement valued at over $100 million. Alec was also responsible for preparing federal and state tax credit applications and negotiating the associated agreements for these awards, which exceeded $240 million, as well as securing buyers for these credits.
